While training for my private pilot license the FAA contacted
me regarding a career in aviation as an ATCS. Having grown up just
miles from Chicago Midway Airport and having spent many hours riding my
bike to the airport to watch airplanes land and take off, I jumped at
the chance to continue my interest in this exciting field. This career
field is one of the most rewarding fields an individual can be in and I
have enjoyed every moment of it. I look forward to speaking at one of
DVPA's future meetings to renew my friendships and make new ones with
your newer members.
