Remember, the next DVPA Hospitality Hanger is May 1 from 8 to 11 a.m., southeast hanger 9-3.
AOPA President Craig Fuller will hold a Pilot Town Hall at Hangar One in Scottsdale April 23 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. During this free event, Fuller and AOPA staff will talk about the current state of general aviation and visit with other pilots from the region.
Sounds of DVT - The new DVPA aircraft monitoring system on the terminal observation deck is now fully operational. The three speakers allow visitors to hear the north and south tower frequencies and ground control. This a great place for airplane buffs and kids so tell your friends.

The re-scheduled Challenge Air Event is on for April 24. . Local pilot volunteers are needed to fly "challenged children" on short 20 minute flights in the DVT area similar to what is done with EAA's Young Eagles program. The requirements are slightly different due to the fact that almost all of the children have special needs. Details are available at www.challengeair.com.
