DVPA "Quick and Current" December 11, 2009
ONLY FIVE DAYS LEFT before the December dinner meeting, DVPA will hold its annual stuffing of "Goodies Trays" for our key businesses at Deer Valley. The fun event starts at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16. Note that this meeting is on a Wednesday, not the usual Thursday.
All members need to bring some of the suggested treats to help us show how much we appreciate our key airport supporters.

DVPA needs Director Candidates - DVPA is beginning the yearly search for Director candidates. The annual meeting and election is held in Feburary each year at the monthly Board of Directors meeting. If you have an interest in serving on the DVPA Board, come out to one of our BoD meetings (Dec 16, 2009 & Jan 21, 2010) and get acquainted or contact one of the current Directors through the website for addition details. DVPA Directors serve a term of 3yrs with Board meetings held monthly at the airport. If you are looking for a way to “give back” to aviation, a Director position is an excellent opportunity. We also have opportunities for you to lend your skills and time by serving on one of our many Committees. Because DVPA is a completely voluntary organization, it helps out immensely when we have an active membership that volunteers a helping hand to share the workload throughout many people rather than just a dedicated few.
